Music, travelling, heat and hats

Sat Jul 25, 2009, 4:27 AM
  • Mood: Thrilled
  • Listening to: We Are London - Madness
  • Reading: Lieutenant Hornblower - C.S. Forester
  • Drinking: A cup of tea
The four keywords of this Summer: Music, travelling, heat and hats. As people might assume, I have been "keeping my hands turning".

Music
I have enjoyed some weeks accompanied with good music. As I went to England (wonderful country - definitly a place I am coming back to) I found some of the music I have yearned after as long as I remember. Their music stores are amazing. I can hardly walk into some of the Danish ones without thinking that they are lacking something.
But that is not all, my friends. After returning home to Denmark, I went to see Deep Purple live. And what an experience! A fourty-year old band still rocking, that is something. A very enjoyable evening indeed. Now all there is left is the upcoming musical studies at the school; I am starting the 12th of August. And looking forward to do so.

Travelling
As I mentioned in the Music-section, I have been to England for two unforgettable weeks. And I was not disappointed, I say. I stayed at a lovely host family's, and when we left for London, I could not do anything but miss them. London was awesome! :D Though we hurried through that magnificent city, we did see what they have to offer. I had fish and chips! :XD: A fishy dish indeed. I went to some of their secondhand book stores; I found two great Hornblower-novels and some other delightful readings.
This is not all. I am halfway on my way to Austria by now - going out to see some nature and speak some German. We are catching the train to get there; so that means that we can poke out on the mountains. After Austria, then it is school calling.

Heat
Not really much to say, but nonetheless. It has been hot! :XD: I have obtained some colour worth showing, besides it is too warm for anything else. Rain has started to fall once again - quite a deserved bunch - but it is still quite warm. Hm. Heat makes one mused.

Hats
Indeed, hats. Some wise man once said that is only one hat for you. And I have finally found the one for me, being the madhatter I am. Good to avoid wet hair, sun rays, etc. Purple on the inside (woah ^^) And pinned with badges. :XD: Definitly something to show the world when getting the time to photograph it.

When all that is said, how are you all? :D
- Enjoy your Summer.

The technicolor world's going by, but you're the lead in your own movie.

How nice it is to find a fellow spirit, who likes such things! :D We should get familiar. (:
Jane Austen is just great. I love her descriptive novels, the essence and the way she can spellbind one to her works. They have those wonderful themes that still is familiar to one. :D
A Knight's Tale is just  I have some weakness for Chaucer.. don't really know why, but it is a nice weakness. :XD:

We should get to talk about those awesome things, I say. :D *Waits for reply*
